City of Science: Cybersecurity

As technology used by hackers becomes increasingly sophisticated, and we expose more and more personal information online, how can we protect ourselves from attack? A panel of experts on cybersecurity addresses urgent questions, such as: What does it mean to be safe online? What threats are lurking in the digital landscape to our identities and our finances? How will AI impact our cybersecurity? Featuring: Rosario Gennaro, professor of computer science at The City College of New York; Ping Ji, professor of computer science at the CUNY Graduate Center and John Jay College; Thomas Ristenpart, professor of computer science at Cornell Tech and Cornell University; and others. Joshua Brumberg, interim president of the CUNY Graduate Center, moderates.
