Launching a Tech Hiring Revolution

About this event

Launching a Tech Hiring Revolution

In every country, across every industry, employers struggle to find and recruit entry-level tech talent. To repair this job ladder, employers need to radically rethink how they approach the very first rung.

This is the key finding from new research that Generation recently released based on a survey of thousands of jobseekers, people who have successfully moved into tech roles, and employers of tech talent across eight countries. It offers insights about how employers across industries can solve their talent needs and break down barriers to employment for people who are seeking to enter a tech role for the first time to create a more diverse workforce.

Join us for an in-person event hosted by MetLife Foundation in which we will:

  • Highlight the most exciting findings from our recent research about hiring and opportunity in entry-level tech roles

  • Explore employer perspectives on skills-based hiring

  • Share plans for a coalition of employers from across the world that will trial the report recommendations in their own entry-level tech recruitment process
